While I can't take credit for TAG's amazing lineage of hard work and awards the past 20 years, I did work at the Arts Magnet middle school next door to their school. After a few years of bugging their director about doing an a cappella group and bringing my college group All-Night Yahtzee in for a performance/workshop with their choral program they took the plunge. I consulted with their director for their first few years and they took it from there. Now, 20 years later, they've been quite successful and are a proud tradition at their school.
